im not against homosexuals/gays or anything i honestly have nothing against them but i just think the argument is illogical. they say its 'normal' cuz there are gay dolphins, monkeys, etc out in nature so its natural! but the thing is nature did not intend them to be gay. nature messed up! so how is that natural?
dont bring god into this. really? is that your argument? thats just sad...
nature messed up because if being gay was natural/'the norm' then life (for the most part) would not exist.
some of you make it sound like nature is some sort of sentinent being which actually decides...scary
there is a reason that it messed up..b/c its not supposed to but everything gets screwed up every once in a while. thats why some genes on chromosomes are deleted when theyre not suposed to be...transolocated to the wrong place...replicated too much..NOT natural. There are (i forget what you call them) these things in your body during replication that help prevent this from occuring but it ometimes screws up!
@alice: i understand what your saying. but if those few straight people were to reproduce and produce gay offspring b/c that is the norm then the chances of the human population to continue to exist is very slim. Now pretend when humans first existed/came to be and it was normal to be gay...they wouldnt have survived. it would have been virtually impossiible to create a straight offspring. If everyone today were to simply turn gay then the population would greatly be reduced over the course of 50 years and after that...who knows! i mean if theres only like a 2% chance of producing a heterosexual offspring then straight people would have ot procreate constantly. or face extiniction. humans are the excetpion id say to this..i dont really think we care if we get extinct or not..as long as WE/I got my shot at life it doesnt matter abt future generations! but for MOST species their goal is to Survive and Reproduce
@alice: you cant say that because it is animal instinct to survive and reproduce. They do not consciouslly care about such matters but thats how they were built- otherwise this would be a lifeless plantet.
that is true about gay people sleeping with straights/having families but i feel like those are the more 'confused' type of people. but still the odds of the straight people producing a straight child who will procreate with another straight person who is somehow in their area who will also produce another straight child is slim. Even if each couple had 20 kids..there would still be a slim chance of producing a straight child!

i dont see everyone becoming gay anytime soon lol i mean life has been around for like 3.8 billion years..cmon lets be realistic. Also i dont see us becoming asexual either, genetic variation is ah adaptive survival mechanism. also it might be impossible for say 'humans to be become asexual. just because we want to fly doesnt mean we are gonna grow wings. just i masterbate 1800912930 times a day doesnt mean im gonna accidently fertilize myself. Many of the things that people think about when evolving are simply pop cultural or taken from movies- science says it impossbile.
i talked to my biology professor about that when she lectured about evolution
