How can my mother in law loose weight?

She has a membership at the YMCA. Her favorite machine is the treadmill. But when she gets home she eats all day I'm serious. When I was visting her she ate in a 5 hour period a half of pizza, 2 nutty bars, cookies, chips, and a tub of icecream. I worry about her, I can't understand why she wastes her time at the YMCA when she's not eating healthy at home. She always talks about how unattractive she is, and how she's tired of her "huge basketball belly". She's about 5'5 220 pounds. Any advice?
