My car payment was taken automatically from my check. I am in the Army and was currently stationed overseas at the time I paid off my car. When I returned I never received the title in the mail like I thought was suppose to happen. I called the bank about it and they said it was returned because of the address. I gave them my mother's address instead because I was going to be moving again to a different state. The title was never sent. After some months went by I called again and they apologized and said they would send it. Then after a week I got a letter from GMAC saying my service is no longer recognized by the bank. (Basically they are saying "we got our money, now it's your problem") So now I am at a loss for what I can do to get my title. Do I call the DMV? Or what?
