I'm just about 16 years old and tore my acl about a month ago playing lacrosse. I sprained my mcl as well, but that's recovered. The MRI showed meniscus damage as well. Surgery scheduled for about 2 weeks from now. I'm not overweight, but would like to lose some belly for swimsuit season and my limited exercise is very frustrating! Any tips on how I can exercise and lose weight without harming my ACL? Also, I'm supposed to run cross country this fall, but with surgery in May how likely is this? Can I run at least a little? Any advice would be awesome.
