How can i upload an html file (made in dreamweaver) in geocities?

I have files saved in one folder which i made in dreamweaver(local site). Now the question is, should i have to go back to dreamweaver and edit manage sites? (change the links; by the way what do we mean by "FTS" server?)
or upload it as it is with the links like E://NMDStudent/dummy.html?
