I have a SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Micro with many important files on it. It has the security software enabled and is password protected. I've used it for months with no problem, and i've never forgotten the password. Tonight, I go to get into my files, but it says I put in the wrong password. It says I have 2 more tries to get the password right. Thinking i simply misspelled it, I enter my password again, but it still doesn't work. Now I have only one try left, and I'm panicking because I have a large number of irreplaceable files on my drive. I VERY carefully type in my password, pressing each letter one at a time and counting the dots to make sure I don't miss any letters. Sure that I have it right this time, I enter my password. To my horror, it says the password failed and now I am permanently locked out of my flash drive, and my only option is to delete all my files if i want to still use the drive. I find out about 2 minutes later that my fricken caps lock was on. Has my caps lock cost me many months of hard work, or is there some way to get my files back?
