how can i turn on the radio connection without using the trackball on a

blackberry curve? i have a blackberry curve and the trackball only moves up and down but wont move horizontally. Because it won't let me move from left to right, i am not able to go to the "connections" option and make the radio signal come back on. any short cuts to the connections using just the keyboard? help me please
