On 04/05/2010 I downloaded the most recent software update (2.0.1-update1) and I am severely disappointed. For 3 days I experienced a dramatic decrease in the phones overall performance and not too pleased with the new layout and so called 'enhancements'. The previous version is much more stable and user friendly. This new version intent may have been to look 'prettier' but the developers failed miserably on this one.
I was fortunate enough to find a Droid device that has not been updated with the most recent software offering but I continue to be prompted every half hour or so to update the software. Any idea how to turn off the notification to update the software? I have no intent of updating the software.
