How can I turn an old verizon phone into a prepaid phone with the texting bundle?

I have two old phones, the first EnV and the Chocolate2. I'll probably use the EnV just because it looks nicer. But How can I activate it as a prepaid phone with the texting bundle without having to go to thee verizon store. can you do it online? a number i call? i kno I'll need at a $15 card.
