How can I trick out my Jeep on the cheap?

I have a 2001 60th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler. It's all-black with a soft top and running boards. It has a Four Real bush bar and T-Max winch mounted on the front with two PIAA lights. The back has a Four Real bumper and hitch.

I would like to add something under the hood, but I am not a mechanic, so I'm looking for suggestions of current or former Jeep owners or 4x4 enthusiasts. The engine is a 4 liter in-line 6 with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Any ideas?
 
You can add a cold air intake and a throttle body spacer. Some claim this helps performance.
