How can I treat my fish that have "ICK"?

I noticed yesterday one of my fish was seemingly resting at the bottom of the tank. Today I noticed both of my fish have white spots on them. Not a LOT, but it's significant I guess you could say and noticable. I took both of them out, added non-iodized salt, then put them back in while adding a bit warmer water. What else can I do to get my fish back to their normal selves? What product should I buy?

they sell ick med. at walmart its like so easy to find its in a blue bottom and its a blue color chemical. leave the temp alone for now, dont mess with it. keep adding freshwater aquarium salt when the directions say.

Get meds at the pet store. I like Mardell's coppersafe. Also if you are not using aquarium salt, this will help tremendously!!!!! Do NOT buy the stuff for saltwater aquariums. Do NOT use table salt. Use about 1Tablespoon per 5 gal. Basic dose should be on the box.

I just had a convict fish, who survived a horrible case of ich, Go an buy Jungle ick Clear, One tablet per 10 gallons, you can also raise the temperature to get the Ich of the fish faster, Remember you cant treat the fish while the ick is on them

Put a tablet In now, to kill the extra Ick that may be in the tank, before it gets worse.
