how can i transfer photos and sounds from my verizon 2007 motorola crazer to my laptop?

i got a new phone today, a lg env 3, i know how to use it and everything, but they could not transfer more than 20 photos or anny sounds from my old phone to the new one. i know how to download things from my laptop onto my new phone (the lg), but can i upload things from my old phone onto my laptop then onto my new phone.
