How can i train a cricket to jump through a hoop?

My Bio class is required to particpate in the school science fair. each student had to put down three ideas for their own experiments. my teacher rejected my two reasonable ideas and accepted the idea of training a cricket to jump through a hoop. please help me its a big part of my grade. thanks
