How can I tell what kind of breed my dog is?

I've been looking at pictures of dogs trying to find what kind of dog he is. I'm pretty sure hes a rottweiler/lab mix. But how can I tell short of taking him to the vet? I google image searched rottweiler then rottweiler lab mix and all the pictures of "Rottadors" I've found look just like my dog. Is there anyway I can actually tell for certain without taking him to the vet? Thanks!
