I have 2 M94 winchesters and i know one is a pre 64 and another a post 64. How do I tell The difference? One is a bit longer, with a longer forestock, barrel, and a longer tang on the reciever, and the stamp is the same except it says made in USA. The other is a bit shorter with a shorter forestock, barrel, and tang on the reciever. Stamp is the same except it says mad in New Haven. Also, how much are these rifles worth? Theres no scratches on the shorter one due to having camo tape on it for 30yrs, but they are both in GREAT condition, and have been fired. I also have a M94 saddle rifle thats brand new, bought it a few years back, how much is it worth if you can tell me. Thanks
When I mean shorter, I only mean by a little maybe 1/2 to 1 inch
Now besides the size and year, are there any mechanical differences that make one better than the other? action, accuracy, ect?
