How can I tell if my Jeep is a 4x4 or not?

Its an 05 Jeep Liberty Limited
My sister has a 04 Jeep Liberty Limited its a 4x4 and it doesnt say anything about any 4x4 anywhere on or in the car aslo there are no 4x4 switches in her car.I drove it for a few months before I got mine.
 
Well there's many ways to tell if it 4wd or not. One way is to look for the buttons that sometimes show up on the dash. But like my moms old Jeep she had a shifter next to the automatic shifter which you'd use to put it into 4wd. If you want to even deeper into it, you can look underneath the vehicle to see if it has a front and rear differetial and also a driveshaft.
 
1. It would say 4x4 on the car on the trunk or on the side.

2. You would have some knob or shifter in the car that says 4L, 4H, 2H, 2L or something like that.
