I'm 23 right now, recently I started doing more heavy push ups and a more intense workout routine. The pain I've been feeling recently has been isolated to just one side of my upper back, near my right side shoulder area and it hasn't seemed to go away. I'm worried it might my a joint issue or something, but I figured if it was a problem with my back I would feel it on both sides.
Dose anyone know if this might just be a strained muscle issue? and how long do strained muscels usually take to heal? I really don't want to stop doing my push ups other wise I'll lose all my progress which has been a lot in a short time.
if it helps at all the pain seems to occur right after I stop doing the workout and come to a rest.
