How can I sync my photos yo my iPod if I have it in the 'Manually Manage Music' mode?

What I don't want is if I turn on the option of syncing my photos to my iPod, all my music will be gone, and videos too... My question is if I can turn on this option without erasing all of mi iPod's content...
