These GIGANTIC black and yellow fuzzy bumble bee's are boring holes in my wood shop rafters for a nice cozey sleeping chamber. What can I do to deter them from making this there new home. I don't want to exterminate them I just want them to go away. They are not aggressive yet, but when mating season comes they get downright nasty. any home remedies would be great.
AS I researched these critters further, I found out that they are called carpenter bee's and can be very aggressive. they are the size of a peanut M&M.
My work shed is open to the out side 3 walls and a roof no 4rth wall. I dont want to EXTERMINATE them I have a farm and they pollinate my veggies.

Sounds like carpenter bees. We had those really bad one year. They were bigger than any peanut M&M though! They bored into our shed as well. We had to have the exterminator come out and spray - twice. They don't really seem to bother humans, though I didn't test their temperament! But my husband is anaphylatic so we couldn't take any chances. If you don't want to exterminate them then you're just going to have to deal with them. They live in wood so any exposed wood you have they will bore into. They will destroy your shed too unless you're lucky enough for them to migrate away on their own.
