How can I stop spending money?

I am 17 (on the verge of 18) and I have unfortunately become too accustomed to use my ATM Debit Card when I don't have enough cash. I try to use it only for gas and only for deposits, but that only lasted for about a month and a half. I want that to last LONGER! I have spent around $2000.00 in two months (which is pretty big for me).

How can I stop spending my money with my ATM/Debit Card so "easily"? I need to SAVE my money for future needs too!
 
try not to cary the card around with you all the time...
also, u may want to talk with your bank, see if there is a possibility to limit your rethraw amount... i know this one is not tha confortable, but saves some bucks.
