When I was younger I got an XR80, but I just don't have the time to go ride anymore, so I've decided to sell it so I can pay some college expenses. I want top dollar for the bike, but there's a problem...
The bike hasn't been started up regularly in nearly two years. I tried starting it up and there was a steady stream of gas leaking out of the overflow tube (the gas has been sitting in the tank for a while so I planned on draining it anyway). How can I stop this gas from leaking out once I refill the tank? I've read that I may need to adjust my float needle or clean out the float bowl. I've even heard there may be some debris in the carburetor. I just needed some more opinions on what the problem is and some directions on how to go about fixing the problem.
Thanks in advance!
