How can I stop my Blackberry LED flashing when there's NOTHING wrong with it?

No emails/ messages/ missed calls, battery full, it's not updating the security software - everything is checked. I've turned it on and off about 50 times but it's still flashing red whenever I turn it back on. EVEN taken the battery out. Any tips? Some kind of "safe" reset button? Thanks! (The model is a Blackberry Bold 9000 Smartphone)
