So my best friend is about to turn 13 years old, (we're in 8th grade) but she's already having sex! She lost her virginity when she just turn 12 with an 15 year old because she said she wanted to experience what it's like. I told her that was just plain stupid to do. And now, she's still out having sex with guys she likes when she knows they are just using her. We have been best friends since kindergarten but over the years she has changed so much. When we first started middle school she started getting more interested with guys, and sneaking out with boys at like 2 in the A.M, and having them come over to her house in the middle of the night, etc. Her mom doesn't allow her to text guys (she goes through her phone at random times to see who she talks to), have a boyfriend, or be around boys because she doesn't want anything to happen to her, but it's not working. She is so sneaky and her mom has no idea about everything she's doing. I've tried my best to tell her she needs to stop before she winds up pregnant, or with AIDS or STDS. She always tells me stuff like, "I'm going to be fine, we used condoms..." and so on. I've told her condoms don't always work and I've tried my best explaining that she is too young for all this anyway. All she ever says is "yeah, I know I'm too young but I don't care." So obviously, I'm not doing a good job at trying to make her stop being such a hoe. She actually listened to me once, and went a few months without acting like this but then over the summer she ended up sneaking out and having sex again while her mom was at work.
There has to be some way I can explain to her that she is TOO YOUNG or for some way to make her stop.
Remember, this girl has been my best friend since we were 5 years old so it's not like I can just cuss her out and move on with my life or something of that source. I really want to stop her from having sex with random guys and all that before she gets herself into some deep trouble. Yes, I know it's her decision but I think it's stupid. I'm older than her and I've never even done some of this stuff she does. She is a really good friend and she has been through literally everything with me and helped me with ALL my problems so it's like killing me to see her doing something SO stupid. And no, I can't just tell her mom. It would be SOOO much hell and drama, you have no idea. If I could though, I would have by now.
So does anybody know anyway I can get her to stop with all this? I really believe their HAS to be a way! No mean comments please!
