I have a internet connection that's set on a timer, so I goes on and off at certain hours. With Windows XP I was able to stay online as long as I was signed into MSN messanger or GTalk when internet went off. And now I upgraded to Windows 7, but when internet goes off, I also loose my connection to chat. Is there any way I could enable something so it stays signed in? And what was it that made it possible to stay on with XP and not with 7?
