I have been doing plumbing and heating w/my dad for 22 years. He is now retired and i want to start my own business. Although I have all of this experience, I do not have any "official" licenses or certificates. I have insurance, but that's about it. A friend says I should use my dads master plumbers lic. # until i get my own....and that lots of people do this. What are the steps to take doing this the right way?? I work "under the table" currently and don't have the first clue on taxes, either...
