I lost my straight talk phone that runs on Verizon. I bought a used phone from someone that had a SIM card in it. I called Straight Talk to try to activate it and was told that I would need a new SIM card. So I got the new SIM card and have since been given an unlocked HTC. I decided to try to activate that but can't do it online because it needs a serial number and the only one I can find for the HTC has letters in it and the website won't let me put letters in that space.
The only way I can think of to possibly make it work is to activate the used ST phone that I bought with the SIM card and move it to the HTC, but I'm not sure if that would work and I don't want to mess up the SIM card or anything...
