How can I save battery life on my Sidekick?

I have a Sidekick LX 2009 and I've logged off on my email, IM, Facebook, and Twitter. What else can I do? I'm not really used to having a phone that lasts only about a day.... Should I wait for the battery to completely die then recharge it completely? That doesn't erase my data, right? I've heard some problems about that...

Anyway, any advice would be helpful!
 
Well, really the battery life is supposed to only last about that long. You have done basically all you can do to make sure it lasts longer, but you are definitely not supposed to let it turn off. The only time you do that is when you first get it. Because they were having problems with you losing your contacts and data an stuff like that so maybe you could just charge a little more often or if you could control your texting. Texting like most teens do (me) makes the phone last only about a day anyway haha. So ya just try charging it a little more but don't charge it every time it goes down a bar, that can ruin the battery too.
