Wrap them in a tarp, make sure the ends are wrapped and secure, then tie a rope around the poles, through the eyelets of the tarp and to the rack. A truck is better if possible, but if you make sure the poles will not come out of the tarp it should be OK.
BTW: make sure there is an orange flag on the end.
