Okay, I have an Asus Eee PC.
I downloaded a linux executable and saved it to a directory on the computer.
When I attempted to open the file, the "open with" window appeared.
Then I looked at the file's properties, went to permissions, and checked "Exec".
The file runs normally.
My problem is this: When I copy the file to a flash drive, I can't modify the permissions because I "don't own the file".
How can I run linux exes like this? Any ideas?
