I know the title wasn't really very helpful, so let me explain:
I'm getting a spiffy new pc but already have an old one that is hooked up to the internet. The 'new' pc will be in the next room, and I'd hoped that I could get it to run on the same internet connection as the old pc, but I was hoping to go cable free seeing as I don't want random wires running around the house.
I've heard about wireless routers (my friend has one, but like me she isn't that 'tech-savvy' so she couldn't help me) and was wondering what they do - in simple terms - and if one would be suitable for me?
Otherwise, are there any other options rather than having a modem installed on the new computer and whatnot, because that really isn't an option.
Thanks in advance!
