How can I replace the battery cover on a Panasonic KP-4A pencil sharpener, without

having to purchase it again? I have a Panasonic KP-4A pencil sharpener, and I have no idea what happened to its battery cover. The batteries will not function without the cover on. I do not want to have to get a new one when I have the sharpener already, although it can't function without the cover. What is a way that I can replace it? It can be DIY or a cheap replacement piece, I just need an answer in 1 day.

Note that the battery cover has metal on it. It is necessary for the batteries to function. If you can find an eBay link or a link to a website that sells a replacement for this battery cover, I would greatly appreciate it.
