i replaced my battery because my old one would not hold a charge ever after charging it up. so when i put the new battery in and turned my key i got no power no nothing.
That's NOT good no power
make sure its grounded properly all are tight try it again
also check to see of the NEW battery has CHARGED in it to start the bike
