How can I repair my 47" Samsung TV screen? My husband wiped it with Windex

(which is forbidden).? The screen is rainbowed out...What else can I do besides replacing the screen that totals $527?
 
"Bobbie" obviously has never had this experience. Her answer, to put it gently, is not likely to succeed.

If your TV is a plasma set, you *might* be able to recover from this error. If it's an LCD (including LED versions), the display is almost certainly ruined.

Replacing the display is a job for a professional, and the cost will approach or even exceed what you'd pay for a new TV.

Well, after you hide his body from the police, you can try ehow.com and see if somebody has an idea, then, you could contact the company's site and see if they can help you.
