I'm going to be a college freshman and I need to come up with around $15,000 after FAFSA and an unsubsidized Stafford loan. Both of my parents have horrible credit and I don't have any credit. I need something that'll cover the tuition, housing, etc. for the entire year. Private loans seem to go based upon credit and the Parent PLUS loans are credit based too. I'd prefer to pay the loans off when I graduate rather than making my parents pay.
