how can i re-activate my key fob for my ford focus?

i have a ford focus 2009 titanium trim.

i locked my car manually with the key and now the remote central locking on my key fob does not work any more.

Is there any way to correct this or re-activate the key fob without taking it to the dealer?
 
If Sal UKs suggestion fails, try

turn key to position 1 in the ignition and then turn it to position 2 and back to position 1, 4 times in 6 seconds, the 'lights on' chime will sound, and the car immobiliser LED (above the clock) will stay on, then take the key out of the ignition and press one of the buttons on the fob. Wait 10 or so seconds.
