If your camera has a micro SD card, maybe you can change the phone menu to use that card memory for recording instead of the phone's internal memory. Then record some videos onto the micro SD card, then remove the micro SD card and plug it into your computer (you might need a micro SD adapter, but usually those are included with the micro SD card).
