im tring to figure out a way to put dvd's that i own onto my ipod. can someone help me please

first rip the DVD on to you're computer. Then convert your DVD format into Mp4 using Quicktime or this software called Super. once it converted, import it into your ipod. google up the softwares.

If they are comercially produced DVD's then you will need a program to decript the files and change the format. There are a few that are capable but the ONLY one that works ALL the time EVERY time is DVD Fab Platinum. It can be used to copy DVD's onto blank DVD's, or iPods, Zunes, your computer's hard drive, or many other things. The program costs $60 but it is a one time only fee and you are guaranteed that it will work all the time every time and you are given free updates for life. You can download a free, fully functional trial for 30 days. It might be longer than that, I can't remember, but after your trial period you'll have to pay for it if you want to keep using it. It's VERY worth it. If you get it, make sure you get the Platinum version, that's the one you need.

Download the program Handbrake off of the E-net....there is directions how to use it there....
