how can i protect my self from sex attackers and robbing.?

in my local we have lots of sexual attacks and robbing, but the police still have not caught them, even just in my local centre some women got robbed.

i used to walk to my local store or ride a bike to my nearest supermarket but now im scared. i even RIDE to my local store which is 5 minuted away, so if im unlucky and approched any sex attckers or robbing than i can ride away if i have a chance. So how can i protect myself? and what can i bring to protect myself?

get a concealed weapons permit and pack a small 9mm gun.

Pepper spray, personal attack alarm , or just don't go out by yourself would be the best idea.
