When I send an email using my Yahoo! address to someone, I get a call saying that they (recipient) has not received it. When I tell them to check the spam folder, sure enough my email is there. How can I avoid this?

They have to be the responsible one and mark you as a friend or at least transfer your email to their inbox. After transferring your name out of the junk/spam folder a few times, their account will automatically stop putting you in the spam folder.

Yahoo is really bad about this, but it can be avoided.

They MUST add your yahoo address to their address book first. Then if your subject line has ANYTHING that yahoo thinks is spam it will junk it anyway, so don't write your friend and say "HI, you can make money"...

Or have your friend turn his spam-guard off, but he won't want to do this...Sorry, Yahoo has a horrible reputation for being a spam e-mail account, because so many people do use it for scams/spam.

Try the address book thing though, it usually fixes the problem.

There is nothing you can do. The other person must correct their settings or add your email address to their address book.
