I know I need receipts for every major body panel, an invoice for the body work and the title.
Since I bought the vehicle from a private party when it was already repaired I had to pay some junkyards for fake receipts as well as the invoice.
My question is how thorough is the inspection? what can make you fail it?
For example (in my case) The steering wheel is a quarter inch out of alignment. and I have a visible screw holding the corner of my bumper which for some reason sticks out.
Other than that the car doesnt have anything thats out of spec. All vin numbers match except for the fender which has none (aftermarket).
Any helpful tips? Which inspection station in NJ is the easiest to pass?
Any information will be extremely helpful!
