How can i not eat out at a restaurant?

i don't want to eat out at the restaurant this weekend because the food there is SO fattening, how can i not eat or what can i do, to not be hungry, and what lie can i tell my parents. basically i need tips on not eating.

please no mean answers if you don't like or support not eating don't answer. please
