My old Vista PC now does everything at a snails pace. It's painful and infuriating to watch it slowly perform the simplest tasks. Reformat time! The only problem is...my iTunes account is married to that drive. And all the media took 36 hours to convert to iTunes. Is there a simple way to just move it or am I going to have to forfeit next weekend to be with my PC?

I had to reformat my 5 year old computer at the weekend (just think how many tracks I have accumulated in that time) this is how I;ve done it.

1) Make sure you are running the most up to date itunes before you do anything (I think it's itunes 9)

2) back up your whole itunes folder to an external hard drive

3) reformat your computer, then when your able redownload itunes from the apple store

4) reinstate your itunes folder, mine even remembered which playlist each track was in

This may not be the easiest method but it seemed to work. Getting my itunes to work again was the least of my problems downloading the broadband software was way more of a problem.....make sure you have backed everything up before doing a reformat.
