How can I mod my xbox live gamertag?

I have a windows XP computer and a Sandisk USB flash drive. and i have tried to download the things but everytime i try to put my profile on a program it doesnt work at all. Is there something speacial i have to download or something. If there is a video that can help, either send it to me or a link to the video. thanks
