How can i minimize my camping things?

ok, i am taking 6 ppl camping with me for a week we r going to have 2 cars we r sleeping in tents the thing is we have 2 small cars and a lot of stuff to bring so how should we pack and how can we make it so there wont be a lot of stuff 2 bring but still have everything we need? we r camping next week so answer fast! oh and there is a bathroom so no need for porta pottys or anything like that lolz it will be 3 adults and three kids so yeah 2 girls 1 boy
 
as long as you have the basics like food drinks and shelter everything else is extra so pack necessities first then fit whatever extra you can.
