how can i make the scan photos to bigger size like 7cm where i can post on my social...

...network site? using my canon canoScan N340P/N640P everytime i scanned photos it was small even i used pixel 250 or up doesnt appear big when i uploaded it in my social network site. what is there right pixel or inches i need to used so i can upload the photos like 7cm? I want the photos fit w the standard size of FB photo albums. thanks
