I want to amke my 1988 Honda Civic DX Sedan sound loud when I drive by. I want it to have the "Street Racer" Sound. How do I do that? I dont know very much about cars, so is there any easy way to do this? Can I do it myself or do I need to go to a shop? I herd i can put an exaust tip on, but I have no clue what that is or what it will do. Please help me!

buy a muffler off ebay. Just type in 88 civic muffler and buy one with a wide tip. If you want to do it cheaper, just punch a hole in your original muffler.

What's a "street racer" sound?

The incredibly annoying high pitched buzz that no one finds attractive?

Or the low rumble of a car with a serious engine under the hood?

An exhaust tip, is like putting lipstick on. It's basically pointless, and everyone around you will find it to be equally pointless. Unless you're surrounded by idiots.

Easy way to get an impressive sound from the car: Sell it. Get a car with a more serious engine, Upgrade the engine. Leave the exhaust alone. The tone of the engine will be more than enough.
