...child?? Please help!!?
My baby just will not sleep past 4am. Every day. Its driving me crazy. He used to sleep from 6pm to 6am, which worked well but now I think he may not need 12 hours sleep at night.

The thing is that by 7pm he is so tired and cranky that we just have to bath him and get him to bed. People tell me that their babies dont go bed until 10pm to make them sleep longer in the morning so the poor parents get more rest.

Do I let him have a nap at 6pm until 7 - 7.30 and then get him up, play and put him down to bed later, say 8.30 or 9pm? Will having a nap then confuse him?

At the moment he knows when its bedtime as we feed him, bath and then bottle quietly in his room.. can I add a nap in the evening and then do the whole routine later without throwing his sleeping completly out of sync??

Please tell me how you get your little ones to sleep when you want them to. What are your routines and nap/bed times?

My daughter is almost 6 months and she naps quite a few times during the day and she goes to bed between midnight and 2 am. Then she gets up for a bottle at 7:30 and sleeps again till almost noon. I know it's a messed up schedule but my husband goes to school and works and I stay at home and I don't get time to do my stuff until my husband gets off work so I end up at his office working on the internet till 2 am
