How can I make a yahoo chat alias with capital letters?

I figured out how to make a chat alias for Yahoo! Chat, but I can't seem to use capital letters - it always minimizes the letters once I click save. I've seen other chatters in rooms with capital letters and/or punctuation in their id's. How can I do that with my own id?
I'm using yahoo! Messenger 9.0
