ok i have a sony ericsson w580i for at&t and i just bought a new at&t go phone and i tried to put the sim card in and it says insert smart chip what can i do so my sim card gets recognized ?
If the phone works with AT&T it should recognize the other sim card of AT&T as well... maybe you can call the customer service and check with them. If it need network unlock you can request your network provide or get it from a prominent network unlocker like unBBlock.com for your Sony Ericsson W580i.
