How can I make a picture like this in photoshop?

I want to make a picture like this. I have Photoshop Elements 7.0 but I have no clue how to work it.. Help, please?
 
you can do it on paint.... you can do it on anything as long as you know how to use it.
 
all you have to do is open photoshop. then find where it says add layers. add 1 layer to the original one. then on the original layer place what ever picture you want. in this picture it would be the colored background of trees. then on the second layer you can just paste the words you want to use. after you overlap them then it would show up like that.

just mess around witht he different buttons on photoshop. thats how i learned.
